Become a part of Canada’s leading network for Muslim entrepreneurs and business leaders. Membership is free, and joining takes just a few minutes. We believe that no Muslim should face a financial barrier to identifying with and benefiting from a community that supports their growth.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Muslim-Owned Businesses: The business declares at least 51% Muslim ownership and control.
  2. Canadian Residency or Operations: Membership is primarily open to businesses, professionals, and individuals operating in Canada or with significant business activity within Canada.
  3. Self-Reporting and Verification: Members self-report their eligibility and business information during registration. CMEDA reserves the right to verify membership eligibility and business information when necessary.

This form is exclusively for Muslim-owned businesses. CMEDA welcomes partnerships and collaborations with organizations, sponsors, and entities that contribute significant value to the Muslim community. However, these entities do not qualify for standard membership under this form and must instead go through a separate sponsorship or partnership application process.

    Eligibility Criteria: Organizations Benefiting the Muslim Community

    In addition to membership for Muslim-owned businesses, CMEDA welcomes partnerships and collaborations with organizations, sponsors, and entities that contribute significant value to the Muslim community. However, these entities do not qualify for standard membership under this form and must instead go through a separate sponsorship or partnership application process.

    Eligibility Criteria for Organizations Benefiting Muslims

    1. Aligned Mission and Activities:
      • The organization must demonstrate a clear commitment to supporting or benefiting the Muslim community through its mission, programs, services, or advocacy efforts.
    2. Partnership and Sponsorship Opportunities:
      • Entities such as sponsors, non-profits, or other organizations wishing to collaborate with CMEDA or support its initiatives must apply through a dedicated sponsorship/partnership contact form.
    3. Separate Application Process:
      • Organizations not meeting the Muslim-owned business criteria but seeking to engage with CMEDA are encouraged to submit their details through our Partnership Inquiry Form, available [here/link]. This process ensures transparency and alignment with CMEDA’s mission.
    4. Self-Declaration of Intent:
      • Applicants must declare their intent to align with CMEDA’s goals, values, and commitment to fostering economic empowerment for the Muslim community.
    5. CMEDA Review and Approval:
      • All partnership or sponsorship applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approval is subject to alignment with CMEDA’s values and the organization’s ability to provide tangible benefits to the Muslim community.

    • This membership form is exclusively for Muslim-owned businesses.
    • Sponsors, non-profits, and other organizations should apply using the Partnership Inquiry Form to explore opportunities to collaborate, sponsor initiatives, or otherwise contribute to CMEDA’s mission.
